Ik ben open, kritisch, betweter en heb dus eigenlijk altijd gelijk

I am open, critical, a wiseacre, so I am always right in the end

About blogging in English

When I started blogging in September 2011, I had no idea what to expect. And maybe I still don’t know. In a year’s time, I have been writing slightly over 150 blogs, covering a lot of different subjects. All my blogs sofar are in Dutch, my native tongue. After a year, I am ready to take up a new challenge. I will try to do one in five blogs in English. Please don’t hold it against me if it will be less than one in five… Will you please be so considerate to forgive me all mistakes I with certainty will make. There is no way I am going to succeed in writing flawlessly in English. I can read it like I read in Dutch. I can speak English more or less fluently to a level people will understand what I try to say. But writing is different! There is one thing going in my favour. Blogs are informal, in English as well as in Dutch. My writings in Dutch are not without mistakes, what do you expect them to be in in English?
